| Our
client is a well known international company in the field of oil and
gas exploration and production. For further business expansion new
opportunities in Central Eastern Europe are examined. Therefore we
are looking for a Geoscientist / Petroleum Engineer (f/m) Geoscientist / Petroleum Engineer (f/m) for New Venture Analysis in CEE The office location will be Vienna. You will support the appraisal of new partners and E & P development business cases. Further you will develop business cases for contract drafts and negotiation. Starting with a profound market analysis in the region of interest you are able to work out a feasibility study - often based on limited available data - and prepare decision criteria for geo-technical and commercial appraisal. You will be in contact with potential partners and national authorities in order to achieve our ambitious goals in the region. For the above tasks you need several years of experience in the oil and gas industry and a university degree in geosciences or petroleum engineering. Preferably you have commercial practice in venture analyzing and contracting in the petroleum industry. Working experience in business development in CEE countries, as well as negotiation skills and cross cultural understanding are required. Fluent English is mandatory, an Eastern European language (Russian preferred) is of advantage, German knowledge is appreciated.
